This is Anishinaabe Territory
My home and office are located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg people.
I honour their historic connection to this land and recognize their contributions, as well as those of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples, in shaping and strengthening our communities and our country in the past, today, and in the future.

About Gananatha
I am a devoted educator, university professor, researcher, and academic coach, who has been working with individuals and groups in the private and public sectors for more than 25 years.
I work as a part-time university professor, I provide training to federal government employees, and I coach and mentor elementary and high school students in Ottawa and elsewhere in Ontario and overseas. In addition, I have a deep and abiding interest in working with students whose families are new to Canada, as I have also faced challenges related to belonging as both a student and a young adult. I speak several languages as well, which affords me the privilege to meet and connect more deeply with a diversity of students, teachers, and life-long learners here in Ottawa and around the world.

My Commitment Listening to and Collaborating with Students, Parents, and Colleagues
Education reform and revitalization is not just a great idea, it is a must.
In order for students to grow into the 21st century and excel. As educators, we must listen to and work with students, parents, teachers, specialists, and colleagues as we transform our education systems to meet the challenges of the future and achieve excellence and sustainability both inside and outside the classroom.
